The opportunity to recline in the open is a luxury established in biblical times, but in the contemporary urban environment that opportunity is limited not by social norms so much as practical availability of space. Flip presents itself in the unassuming size of a well proportioned lounge chair, and it is content to reside in that mode without revealing its other identity. If opportunity knocks, however, it can double its length as a chaise-longue of sinuous comfort.

Convertible armchair/chaise-longue with steel structure, foamed polyurethane seat and chromed steel. A mechanism makes it possible to flip the seat forward, opening up and thus doubling the length of the chair. Removable cover in fabric, synthetic material, leather, customer leather (pc) or customer fabric (tc), available in solid colours or in a two-colour combination, with the possible combination of different fabrics/leathers of similar thickness.

Jeff Miller is a leading American product designer. In 2011 he joined Poppin as the VP of Design, where he headed a multidisciplinary team dedicated to developing clean, clever and colorful products for working happy. He founded his own New York design practice, consulting for a range of clients including: Bosch, Cuisinart, Herman Miller, Itoki, Lenovo, Panasonic and Samsung. Jeff’s work has been distinguished by design awards and museum exhibitions and his designs have been highlighted in numerous international design publications.
